Refugee Rights Hub
The Refugee Rights Hub was fully established in September 2018 to help refugee families based in Yorkshire and the Humber. Our primary aim is to fill the gaps in legal assistance created when the UK Government withdrew Legal Aid. We provide eligible individuals with full access to essential immigration services and legal support throughout the application process. The services we offer are free of charge. The Refugee Rights Hub will never ask for payment and our goal is to reunite families with those they have been forced to leave behind when seeking sanctuary. Since our formation we have helped more than 1000 family members from all over the world in making applications to join loved ones in the UK.

Partnerships
We are delighted to be working in partnership with the following organisations who are dedicated to helping refugees.

We receive support from Frontline Immigration Advice Project (FIAP), operated by Refugee Action, which helps us to train our advisers.

Refugee Rights Hub at HKC is registered with and regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA). The IAA ensures that registered refugee advisers and caseworkers are competent to act in their clients’ best interests and offers IAA Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications.

As part of the Justice First Fellowship, we offer traineeships to solicitors early in their career to grow the next generation of Human Rights advocates.

Solidaritech is a Bradford-based organisation that helps Refugees and people seeking asylum to access technology. We collect donations of IT equipment on their behalf in our office, refer clients to their service, and work closely with them to improve the use of technology in the hub.
